Knights of Pythias Lincoln Lodge

Our featured artifact and or exhibit for the month that we are highlighting is the Knights of Pythias Lincoln Lodge.
The Knights of Pythias was established in 1864 and was a international, non-sectarian fraternal order. It was founded by Justus H. Rathbone. It was the first order to be chartered by Congress. There is not much information about the Lincoln Lodge, however, the Lincoln-Eureka Lodge was #34 and was created on March 13th, 1876.
